kogan agora pro and the 6 cell battery

I just read a review for the agora over at cnet.com.au, and I just thought I would try and clarify what was said about the 6 cell battery:

the six-cell battery bulges out and props the netbook up at an angle

This is not the case for my agora. I took a photo on the weekend of my pro (see on the right) and you will see whilst there is the bulge out the back (the extra cells), the netbook is not raised at an angle.

The reviewer states that the agora they used was a “review sample”. Whilst they mention a grid pattern on the lid, looking at the pictures in the review I think the unit was the pre-production model that Kogan first showed off. If you look closely you can see the wavy swirl on the lid, whereas the final release version has the grid pattern.

If the reviewer at cnet.com.au did base the review on the pre-production model (with a battery that caused the netbook to sit on an angle, then the comments regarding the build quality could be a moot point…
